Job Summary

This role is for an experienced IT Technician specializing in network and client support, operating as an Onsite Technician in Cologne, Germany. You will be instrumental in a long-term infrastructure project for a leading IT service provider, supporting their digital transformation efforts. Day-to-day responsibilities include crucial network support, such as configuring routers, switches, ports, patching, and performing IOS updates, alongside hardware installation of Access Points and 19" network components. A significant part of the job involves 1st and 2nd Level Client Support, covering installations, troubleshooting, hardware replacement (Break & Fix), and managing rollouts of desktops and notebooks. Success in this position requires solid expertise in Windows 10/11 and MS Office, proven network hardware configuration experience, and strong communication skills to support users both remotely and onsite, while meticulously documenting all activities in the central ticketing system.
