The Junior IT Security Specialist will engage in a broad spectrum of activities, ranging from analyzing and processing IT Security Incidents and evaluating security-relevant logs to developing automated security actions. Key responsibilities include selecting, implementing, and operating modern IT security solutions, performing penetration testing, mitigating identified vulnerabilities, and contributing to the global IT security strategy. Candidates should possess a degree in IT Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant IT training, coupled with foundational experience in IT base technologies like infrastructure, network, and identity management. Success in this position requires a proactive interest in current cyber security threats, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in both German (C1) and English (B1).
