Job Summary

This role is with Germany's federal cybersecurity agency, focusing on securing the digital future of the country by ensuring the infrastructure security and high availability of federal data centers. The successful candidate will join the Data Center Security unit, acting as a service and competence center for federal administration clients. Day-to-day tasks involve consulting and supporting federal agencies on infrastructure security (including physical security, climate control, fire protection, and energy supply) and high availability (including IT control and BCM). You will conduct audits and revisions of data centers based on BSI standards, analyze causes of disruptions, and develop countermeasures. This position requires a technical degree in fields like Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Civil Engineering, coupled with foundational knowledge of relevant standards concerning building services equipment and data center infrastructure. Experience in data center operations or information security management is beneficial, making this an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical national infrastructure security.
