This role involves shaping the cyber security landscape for future-oriented digitalization fields, specifically focusing on online access to administrative services and online elections within Germany's Federal Cybersecurity Authority (BSI). The expert will be responsible for developing IT security standards, conducting studies, and creating technical guidelines, protection profiles (Common Criteria), and practical recommendations. Day-to-day tasks include designing and advising on IT security architectures, leading IT projects, performing security analyses, and creating Proof of Concepts to demonstrate the feasibility of security requirements. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in a relevant technical field and possesses practical experience in IT project management, security analysis, web application security, and cryptography.
