Job Summary

This role involves supporting the operation and continuous development of the Geo-Document Management System (Geo-DMS), which provides land-wide access to surveying documents. The Application Administrator will be crucial in coordinating and organizing document imports, collaborating closely with internal departments and external partners. A key focus will be on advancing and automating import processes, specifically through the application of Python scripting. Furthermore, the position requires active participation in quality assurance, including executing and documenting standardized test cases, and providing Second-Level Support to users. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the digitalization of public administration within a motivated team environment, utilizing modern IT to connect specialized knowledge with technical solutions.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Diplom (FH) or Bachelor of Science) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Geoinformatics, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a comparable vocational qualification area (if lacking required degree)
  • Programming knowledge in Python (Required)
  • Initial experience with XML data (Helpful)
  • Basic knowledge in SQL, preferably with PostgreSQL (Advantageous)
  • Knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux SLES) (Advantageous)
