Job Summary

This role involves serving as an Operations Manager within the Technical Facility Management division in Berlin, overseeing service properties for Germany's highest federal authorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Technical Building Management (TGM) of properties, ensuring the agency's compliance as the operator regarding technical operations, safety, and adherence to regulations. Key daily tasks include steering and monitoring external technical service providers, managing contracts, planning and implementing measures for smooth operation of technical building equipment, and acting as the client representative for TGM construction projects. Applicants must hold a technical degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Supply Engineering, or Technical Facility Management) or a comparable qualification, coupled with several years of professional experience in operating technical systems and profound knowledge of relevant industry standards (GEFMA, DIN, VOB). This is a critical, permanent position supporting the federal government's real estate goals.
