Job Summary
This role involves providing essential 1st and 2nd level IT support, acting as the primary point of contact for user inquiries and technical issues via phone, email, and in-person. Day-to-day responsibilities include receiving, analyzing, and classifying incoming IT disruptions, escalating complex issues to administrators, and rigorously documenting all activities within a ticket system until resolution. The specialist will also handle the installation of new hardware and software for users on-site and provide general assistance regarding all IT-related user questions. Key qualifications include a completed IT education (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration), strong knowledge of standard operating systems (Windows 10/11 and/or MAC OS X), MS Office/Microsoft 365 products, and experience utilizing ticketing systems. Success in this position requires excellent customer service, communication skills, and a strong team-oriented mindset.
