Job Summary

This role is critical for building and operating AI systems within the tax administration sector, focusing specifically on large language models (LLMs) as part of the KONSENS project. The DevOps Engineer will be instrumental in conceptualizing, setting up, and scaling on-premise infrastructures within a Private Cloud environment. Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines tailored for complex AI workflows, managing container and orchestration solutions, and contributing to Python application development. The ideal candidate will design development and testing environments, implement observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) for monitoring and incident management, and integrate MLOps tools like MLFlow into the pipelines. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a MINT field and good German language skills (B2 minimum), offering a secure, full-time position with high flexibility (up to 80% remote work) and competitive public sector compensation.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent Diploma (FH)) in a MINT subject (Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Technology)

Experience
