This role offers an exciting opportunity to actively contribute to the energy transition by ensuring the reliable function of 50Hertz's high-voltage cable systems in their offshore operations. The Electrical Engineer will initially focus on the construction project phase before transitioning to continuous maintenance and support of cable technology in the North Sea, often working on a 14-day offshore rotation schedule. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing maintenance projects, monitoring cable availability while adhering to safety and environmental standards, and evaluating the technical condition of assets, including calculating electrical parameters. The role also involves commercial and contractual oversight, such as budget planning and warranty monitoring, and participating in the company's on-call system. This position is ideal for an organized professional with expertise in high or medium-voltage cables who is ready to shape the future of offshore technology within a dynamic, future-oriented environment.
