Job Summary

This role is for a Senior IT Service Technician to be deployed on a 24-month long-term assignment (LTA) in Belgium (Brussels or Mons), supporting the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) as part of BWI GmbH's international field services. The technician will be responsible for providing on-site IT support, managing incident and IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) requests, and ensuring high customer satisfaction while adhering to strict SLAs and data security protocols. Key responsibilities include the installation, commissioning, upgrade, and maintenance of hardware and software, administration of IT infrastructures, including network and server environments, and providing 1st and 2nd-level support to users. Candidates must have a completed IT qualification, approximately three years of relevant field service experience, comprehensive knowledge of ticketing systems, and fluency in both German and English. This position requires a commitment to a temporary relocation to Belgium following an extensive onboarding period in Germany.
