Job Summary

The Datacenter Operations Engineer will be responsible for the continuous operation and maintenance of five geo-redundant HBSN data centers, focusing heavily on virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere, Veeam, and Proxmox. Key responsibilities include configuring, deploying, and administering virtual machines and networks, performing critical backup and recovery operations using Veeam, and ensuring optimal system availability through performance monitoring and capacity planning. The role requires strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot infrastructure issues and close collaboration with other teams to implement security policies. Candidates must possess comprehensive experience managing datacenter infrastructure, proven expertise in VMware vSphere and Veeam, and fluent German and good English communication skills.
