IT Consultant focusing on Group Reporting & System Administration | Informatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is based within the Group Controlling department of a leading steel technology and special machinery construction group, reporting directly to the CFO. The IT Consultant will primarily focus on system administration and further development of key SAP financial systems, specifically SAP Financial Consolidation (SAP FC) and SAP BW/4HANA, adapting them to new group structures and change management processes. Day-to-day tasks include modeling and programming data models using SQL and ABAP for SAP HANA and SAP BW/HANA, generating critical ad-hoc reports for executive management and supervisory boards, and providing technical support for monthly closings, planning, and forecasts. The ideal candidate holds a degree in IT or Economics and possesses several years of professional experience with SAP BW and SAP HANA in a Finance/Controlling context, coupled with strong analytical skills and communication abilities to advise group companies on technical matters.
