IT Consultant, Group Reporting Systems | Informatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is a temporary position (parental leave substitution) for an Inhouse IT Consultant within the Group Accounting department of a leading steel technology and machinery group. The consultant will be responsible for the comprehensive support and administration of critical financial systems, specifically the SAP FC consolidation software and the associated Business Warehouse environment. Day-to-day tasks include process optimization, managing authorization rights, preparing monthly reporting input masks, and conducting technical analyses. The role also involves handling IT administration inquiries from auditors, supporting software release changes, creating detailed test scenarios, and actively participating in IT projects focused on system replacement or new software introduction. Successful candidates must hold a degree in Informatics or Business Administration with an IT focus, or possess relevant vocational training and professional experience. Strong IT affinity, knowledge of group consolidation techniques, and good English communication skills are essential for collaborating with the group's subsidiary companies.
