Job Summary

This role involves joining the IT Operations team at the Brandenburg Medical School Theodor Fontane (MHB) to administer and optimize the entire IT infrastructure, including network and server landscapes, across both On-Premise and Cloud environments (Windows and Linux). The specialist will ensure smooth operations by actively monitoring data backup, conducting regular recovery tests, and maintaining system documentation. A key part of the job is active participation in exciting IT projects aimed at further developing the infrastructure. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or a professional qualification as an IT Specialist focusing on System Integration, combined with at least five years of professional experience. Proficiency with enterprise network vendors (Cisco, Fortinet, Ubiquiti) and specific technologies like VMWare, Veeam, and M365 is required, along with a proactive, solution-oriented approach and strong language skills in both German (B1) and English (B2).
