Job Summary

The Brandenburg Medical School Theodor Fontane (MHB) is seeking a dedicated IT Operations Specialist to manage and actively shape the university's critical IT infrastructure. This permanent, full-time role involves the comprehensive management and development of network, server, on-premise, and cloud systems to ensure a secure, highly available environment supporting research, teaching, and administration. Key responsibilities include proactive security monitoring, technical ownership of data backup and recovery processes, and providing 1st and 2nd level support. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent vocational training, coupled with at least five years of professional experience. Expertise in enterprise networking (Cisco, Fortinet), virtualization (VMWare, Veeam), and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint) is essential.
