This role as an IT Security Manager, based in Essen, involves joining a crucial federal company dedicated to the safe interim storage of radioactive waste. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the highest security standards by developing comprehensive IT concepts based on security best practices. Daily responsibilities include leading projects focused on harmonizing and building robust IT security solutions, drafting essential security analyses, policies, and guidelines, and ensuring their effective implementation across the organization. You will serve as a key advisor on cross-location security topics and participate actively in managing security incidents. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience coupled with several years in IT security. Proficiency in IT project management methodologies and exceptional written communication skills for creating detailed security documentation are mandatory.
