Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated IT Technician for a challenging position in Ingolstadt, initially through temporary employment with the potential for direct hire by the client. The core focus involves extensive physical IT infrastructure maintenance and support, primarily executing high-volume patching (approximately 350 per month) and cabling work, including fiber optic and copper networking, within the client's data centers and server rooms in Neckarsulm and associated external sites. Day-to-day tasks also include resolving IT problems, managing hardware and software, handling standard service requests (Request Fulfillment), providing VIP support, and managing IT inventory (RMA/Trade In). A critical requirement is the mandatory readiness for 24/5 on-site three-shift operation, including weekend hours, and the willingness to travel to external locations across Germany for necessary network interventions. The ideal candidate possesses strong IT knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and flexibility to support a dynamic IT environment.
