Job Summary
This role supports the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) as a Senior Service Technician specializing in Logistics, based in Lohheide. You will be instrumental in ensuring the digital readiness of military operations by managing the IT logistics for the International, Mission & Training (IM&T) warehouse. Key responsibilities include the commissioning, packaging, and shipping of IT material, supporting pre-configuration and installation of components, and ensuring the operational readiness of stored hardware through necessary maintenance and updates. You will handle goods receipt, book items in ERP systems (specifically SAP), and maintain comprehensive, structured documentation of all logistics activities. The position requires completed vocational training, approximately three years of experience in IT or logistics, familiarity with ticketing and SAP systems, and highly fluent German skills to ensure seamless collaboration across service and logistics departments.
