Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled Energy Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Engineer responsible for the maintenance, new construction, and modification of electrical supply systems across all voltage levels. The Service Technician will handle complex maintenance and service work on switchgear and substations, including troubleshooting, repair, and implementing retrofit measures according to manufacturer specifications. Day-to-day tasks involve setting up work sites, conducting risk assessments, performing extensive electrical and mechanical measurements/tests, and ensuring comprehensive documentation of technical and commercial data. Success in this role requires deep knowledge of power supply systems, strong customer orientation, and a proactive approach to continuous learning, ensuring safe and reliable operations within the electrical grid.
