Job Summary

This role is central to maintaining and advancing critical Grid Management Systems (Lovion, Geocall, and Argos) that ensure efficient network control and maintenance for the energy supply of 1 million people in the Hannover region. The Technical Application Specialist will collaborate closely with Product Owners and external providers to evaluate requirements and translate them into robust, standard-compliant IT solutions. Key responsibilities include ensuring seamless system operation, conducting thorough troubleshooting and testing, and actively managing releases from acceptance through to Go-Live. Furthermore, you will play a vital role in integrating new applications into the existing architecture, actively shaping the digital future of grid operations. Candidates should possess a background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, coupled with professional experience in supporting or configuring specialized IT applications, and strong knowledge of databases (SQL) and interface standards (REST, SOAP, XML).
