Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Automation Specialist to join an international industrial company located in the Mainz-Bingen district, focusing heavily on machine and plant automation, particularly within the highly regulated environment of pharmaceutical production. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent parameterization of objects in controllers and drive units, documenting high-quality source code, and performing complex fault diagnosis within control logic and fieldbus devices. The specialist will coordinate the commissioning of encapsulated control logic in PLCs and Process Control Systems and execute System Integration Tests (SIT). Key requirements include deep knowledge in EMSR technology (Electrical, Instrumentation, Control Engineering), computerized systems, and standard automation programming (PLC, HMI, SCADA). Candidates must bring a minimum of three years of specialized experience or technical school qualification, coupled with proficiency in German (C1) and English (B2), and specific knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
