Job Summary

As a GMP Calibration Engineer in Mainz, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and compliance of measurement equipment within a pharmaceutical production environment. Your daily responsibilities include identifying and performing risk-based assessments of measuring points, defining calibration specifications, and coordinating with various departments and external suppliers. You will be responsible for GxP-compliant documentation, managing data within document management systems, and overseeing the operational execution of calibrations on-site. Furthermore, you will handle engineering change management processes, including Change Controls, Deviations, and CAPAs. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of €70,000 - €80,000 and the flexibility of a hybrid work model with two days of home office per week. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Engineering (e.g., Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology) or a relevant technical vocational training.

Experience

  • Long-term professional experience in the field of calibration, preferably within a regulated GMP environment or similar.
  • Extensive experience with GxP regulations in the biotechnological or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in engineering change management, including handling deviations and corrective actions.
  • Proven experience in coordinating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers for technical services.

Additional

  • The position is initially for 12 months via employee leasing with a clear option for permanent takeover. Location is Mainz with a 2-day home office option. Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
