As a DevOps Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the continuous development, operation, and security of infrastructure for development environments. Daily tasks include planning, building, and automating infrastructure services adhering to high security standards (BSI IT-Baseline Protection), maintaining operational and architectural documentation, and providing support to agile DevSecOps development projects. A core focus is on increasing automation, standardization, and security measures, requiring expertise in areas like Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift), datacenter networking (Cisco ACI), or virtualization (VMware VCF). Required Skills

Education

Completed 3-year relevant vocational training and additional qualification (e.g., Certified Specialist, Technician, Master Craftsman) or completed relevant university degree

Experience

  • Professional experience with Linux operating systems and networking concepts
