Job Summary
Join the primary digitization partner of the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and contribute to national security by ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT services. As an IT Systems Electronics Technician based in the Bonn area, your core responsibilities include providing decentralized second-level support, acting as the face of BWI to users, and resolving incidents and requests across PC, telephony, LAN, and WAN environments. Day-to-day tasks involve the analysis and resolution of IT issues, documentation, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of hardware and software, and participating in IT infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong focus on customer and quality orientation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work within scheduled operating hours (Mon-Fri, 7 AM - 5 PM) and participate in on-call duty. The ideal candidate will have a relevant IT vocational qualification and at least two years of professional experience, ideally within the Bundeswehr environment, and will contribute to the continuous modernization of one of Germany's largest IT infrastructures.

3-year vocational training in the IT sector (e.g., IT Systems Electronics Technician) or comparable qualification
Experience
- At least two years of professional experience in a relevant field
- Experience in the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) environment is desirable
