Job Summary

This role involves acting as an SAP Support Consultant specializing in Logistics modules, primarily focusing on SAP Warehouse Management (WM), Materials Management (MM), and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), to ensure the digital capability of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Day-to-day responsibilities include providing comprehensive SAP support, analyzing errors, developing solution proposals and designs, and collaborating with the development team for implementation. A critical aspect of the job is supporting the transition to S/4HANA and ensuring continuous documentation and system adjustments. Candidates must possess multi-year experience in SAP support and customizing for logistics applications, along with the ability to map complex logistical processes within SAP. This position offers the opportunity to work on one of Germany's largest and most complex IT infrastructures, contributing directly to national security through stable and secure IT services, requiring a solution-oriented approach and fluent German communication skills.

Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, or comparable training

Experience

At least 2 years of relevant professional experience
Multi-year experience in the SAP Support area
Knowledge and experience in customizing for SAP Logistics applications (WM, EWM, MM)
Experience in the overall consideration and mapping of logistical processes in SAP
Experience in transferring projects into productive use

Languages

German (Fluent)
