Job Summary

This role seeks an IT Field Service Technician to join a market-leading IT solutions and service management company, focusing on maintaining and supporting IT infrastructure across locations like Düsseldorf, Cologne, Aachen, or Leverkusen. Day-to-day responsibilities include relocating PC workstations and performing client installations, troubleshooting issues primarily related to Windows 10 and MS Office, and handling the repair, connection, return, and replacement of various IT equipment (laptops, desktops, smartphones, tablets). The technician will also manage service requests, monitor and document incidents, and ensure operational readiness of delivered devices, including data migration. The ideal candidate holds a completed professional IT qualification (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) and possesses experience in system installation, maintenance, and administration, along with good proficiency in both German and English. This position is initially temporary with the option for permanent employment.
