Job Summary

This role seeks an IT Field Service Technician to provide essential support for a retailer's branch IT systems in the greater Ingolstadt area. The core responsibilities involve managing and maintaining Point of Sale (POS) systems and mobile devices, processing incoming support requests, and ensuring the stability of the client and server infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include the installation, configuration, and maintenance of client/server systems, as well as the upkeep of network components, server hardware, and printers. The ideal candidate possesses completed vocational training in IT or an equivalent qualification, along with existing experience in IT system maintenance and repair. Crucially, the role requires high flexibility regarding on-call duties and occasional weekend assignments.
