Job Summary
The BFI Group, an established IT service provider operating successfully in the German market since 1998, is seeking an IT Technician to expand their team in Weimar. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency, focusing on hardware and software analysis and correction, particularly on non-office PCs. Day-to-day responsibilities include Hardware Break & Fix, managing IMAC/D requests (Installation, Moves, Adds, Changes, and Disposal) including release management, and proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of specialized devices and peripherals. The ideal candidate must possess a completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent qualification, coupled with strong knowledge of hardware, software, and excellent networking skills. Fluency in both German and English (minimum B2 level) and a Class B driver's license are mandatory prerequisites for this position, which offers deployment opportunities in complex project environments across Germany.
