Job Summary

This role involves optimizing, commissioning, and maintaining complex machinery and plant infrastructure for a global leader in railway vehicle manufacturing based in Salzgitter. Day-to-day tasks include performing comprehensive diagnostics on electrical circuits, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring the correct selection and installation of electrical components according to strict DIN VDE standards (0100-600 and 0105-100). A key responsibility is the configuration and programming of control systems, specifically requiring expertise with Siemens Step7, Simatic S7, and TIA Portal, alongside other systems like FANUC. Candidates must have a completed qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electronics, possess relevant industrial experience, and be familiar with CNC technology fundamentals. The position is full-time and requires flexibility to work within a 3-shift system.
