Job Summary

This permanent position as a Facility Operations Manager in Berlin involves ensuring the technical operation and safety compliance of high-level federal properties. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing operator responsibility, managing and controlling external technical service providers (TGM), and implementing measures to guarantee the smooth functioning of technical building equipment. A core part of the role is acting as the client representative for all TGM construction projects, managing warranties, and preparing detailed specifications for national and European tenders (VOB, VOL, HOAI). You will also be responsible for monitoring the economic efficiency of technical systems and developing concepts for optimization. Candidates must possess a technical university degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in fields like Building Services, Electrical Engineering, or Technical Facility Management, or hold a Certified Technician qualification with relevant professional experience.
