Job Summary

This role involves providing critical IT support and administration for the clinical and hospital-specific application landscape at the Bundeswehr Hospital in Berlin. Day-to-day tasks include managing and responding to Hospital Information System (HIS) inquiries from staff, analyzing and processing error messages for escalation to project management or manufacturers, and performing administration, configuration, and updates for key applications (KIS, RIS, LIS) and associated servers, databases, and directly connected hardware (printers, card readers, scanners). The specialist will also advise and conduct basic training for employees on the HIS. Key qualifications include a completed professional qualification in IT, such as IT Specialist in Application Development or System Integration, and a commitment to democratic principles.
