Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Policy Advisor within the Politics Staff Department of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV), focusing heavily on digital policy and its implications for social security. The successful candidate will represent the interests of the statutory accident insurance towards government, parliament, and other political decision-makers. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring and analyzing political developments and legislative initiatives concerning digital policy (e.g., register modernization, Germany Stack, identity management, Cloud, digital sovereignty, and AI), advising target groups at the federal and state levels, and drafting position papers for political stakeholders. Key requirements include a Master's degree in Political Science, Social Science, Law, or Computer Science, relevant professional experience in a social insurance organization or politically active association, and strong communication skills.
