IT Specialist / Project Manager for Operational Technology | Projektleiter (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves shaping the establishment of a central Operational Technology (OT) department within Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing central OT services, including infrastructure, Business Continuity Management, and Information Security. Day-to-day tasks include close collaboration with internal IT and external service providers, continuous process and application development, and active involvement in building Artificial Intelligence solutions aimed at boosting production and quality. A key focus is implementing processes and central services to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. The role requires acting as a Project Manager, Sub-Project Manager, or Expert in projects, utilizing the Prince2 methodology, and leveraging foundational knowledge in digital technology, automation, and cybersecurity to drive technological transformation in one of Europe's leading steel companies.
