IT Specialist / Project Manager (Operational Technology) | Projektleiter (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is a unique opportunity to shape the establishment of a central Operational Technology (OT) department within Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH, a major subsidiary of the Salzgitter Group. The specialist will be responsible for developing and managing central OT services, including infrastructure, Business Continuity Management, and Information Security. Day-to-day tasks involve collaborating closely with internal IT and external service providers, continuously developing applications and processes, and actively participating in the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions to boost production and quality. A key component of the role is leading projects, sub-projects, or acting as an expert using the Prince2 project management methodology. Candidates should possess a background in digital technology, ideally with several years of experience in operational technology and strong knowledge of automation technology, complemented by excellent communication and presentation skills.
