Job Summary
This role seeks an experienced IT Technician based in or around Dresden to join a long-standing IT service provider, focusing on on-site user support within a scientific environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a diverse, heterogeneous IT infrastructure, providing friendly and solution-oriented support to end-users, and performing installation, configuration, and maintenance of both hardware and software. A key component of the job involves systematic documentation of customer requests and solutions using a ticketing system, alongside occasional Linux client installations (Ubuntu/Red Hat). The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT vocational training or equivalent qualification, strong knowledge of Microsoft client environments, and fluency in German. This position offers an indefinite employment contract, 30 days of vacation, and excellent development opportunities within a professional and collegial environment.
