Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced IT Technician based in or around Dresden to join a long-standing IT service provider, focusing on on-site user support within a scientific environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a diverse, heterogeneous IT infrastructure, providing friendly and solution-oriented support to end-users, and performing installation, configuration, and maintenance of both hardware and software. A key component of the job involves systematic documentation of customer requests and solutions using a ticketing system, alongside occasional Linux client installations (Ubuntu/Red Hat). The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT vocational training or equivalent qualification, strong knowledge of Microsoft client environments, and fluency in German.
