Job Summary
This role is for a pragmatic and solution-oriented IT Support Technician focused on providing exceptional 1st Level Onsite Support in the TechLounge and via Floorwalk in Central Essen. Key responsibilities include managing the entire support lifecycle, from ticket creation and initial diagnosis (using tools like ServiceNow) to clear documentation and escalation to 2nd level support when necessary. You will handle hardware support for Windows (Notebooks/Convertibles), macOS (MacBooks), and iOS (iPhone/iPad) devices, manage user accounts and device provisioning within Azure AD and Intune, and provide assistance with Microsoft 365 applications, VDI environments (ideally Citrix), and BitLocker recovery. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical skills in Windows 10/11, networking basics, and demonstrate reliable, process-oriented work habits, along with fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
