Job Summary

This permanent, full-time Laboratory Technician role focuses on ensuring product and water quality within a production setting, offering an attractive above-tariff wage starting at €20.00 per hour. The primary responsibilities include the independent testing of raw materials, finished products, and water quality, involving comprehensive microbiological, chemical, physical, and sensory examinations. A key part of the role is the calibration of measuring devices and active participation in maintaining and improving the Quality Management and Quality Assurance (QM/QS) systems, specifically adhering to IFS and ISO 14001 standards. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification as a Laboratory Technician, CTA, PTA, or a university degree in Oecotrophology or Food/Beverage Technology, coupled with at least two years of relevant experience. Routine experience with microbiological investigations and knowledge of density, Brix, and acid measurement are essential. The position requires flexibility for multi-shift work, including weekends.
