Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Laboratory Technician focused on quality assurance within a production setting, likely food or beverage. The core responsibilities include the independent testing of raw materials, finished products, and water quality. Day-to-day tasks involve performing microbiological, chemical, physical, and sensory examinations of samples, alongside the crucial duty of calibrating measuring instruments. A significant part of the role is active participation in maintaining and implementing the comprehensive Quality Management and Quality Assurance (QM/QS) systems, specifically supporting the preservation and improvement of certifications like IFS and ISO 14001. Successful candidates must hold a relevant vocational qualification (e.g., Lab Technician, CTA, PTA) or a degree in Oecotrophology or Food/Beverage Technology, coupled with a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
