Job Summary

This role is critical for ensuring the efficiency, legal compliance, and future viability of billing processes, specifically concerning medical aids and devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating regulatory changes and developing robust implementation strategies for operational billing procedures. Day-to-day tasks involve optimizing internal auditing processes, conducting rigorous quality checks, and analyzing financial bookings. Furthermore, the specialist will play a key technical role in supporting and testing the specialized billing software, Kompass 302, coordinating technical interfaces, and deriving necessary software adjustments for continuous professional development. This position requires a background in Economics or Health Economics and ideally several years of practical experience, combining strong analytical skills with the ability to train and mentor staff on complex billing audit topics.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Health Economics, or a related field OR Completed advanced training as a Health Insurance Business Administrator or Specialist (e.g., Social and Health Care).

Experience

  • Several years of practical experience in the working area (Ideally required)
  • Experience in optimizing audit processes and conducting quality checks
  • Experience in analyzing financial bookings and maintaining work documentation
