Job Summary

This role involves integrating and maintaining critical IT components for a leading educational institution in Heidelberg. The IT Specialist will be responsible for the comprehensive administration and maintenance of Windows Server systems, Office 365, and the entire IT infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and routers. Key daily tasks include troubleshooting system issues, processing incidents via a ticketing system, continuous monitoring, and providing essential helpdesk and user support. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant IT qualification, strong professional experience in IT administration, especially with Office 365 and PC system technology, and deep knowledge of networking concepts like TCP/IP, routing, and subnet calculating.
