This role as a Service Desk Engineer in Cologne involves providing essential 1st and 2nd Level IT support, ensuring smooth operations for key clients of a long-standing partner to German industry. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring relevant IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and handling incoming support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems. The engineer will qualify, prioritize, and categorize support inquiries and provide dedicated support to assigned key customers. The ideal candidate holds a completed vocational training, such as an IT Specialist or IT System Electronics Technician, or possesses comparable professional experience in the IT sector, alongside strong knowledge of hardware, Microsoft operating systems, and standard applications like Microsoft Office.
