Job Summary

This role is ideal for an IT professional with foundational networking knowledge, focusing on the deployment and maintenance of network infrastructure for a leading global IT service provider. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing and commissioning network components, primarily Cisco hardware, performing basic device configuration using predefined templates, and managing the physical patching of network cabling. The technician will also be responsible for handling the logistics of equipment, including storage and decommissioning of old devices, and assisting with technical documentation using tools like Command. Key requirements include an IT-related qualification or at least one year of relevant practical experience, solid basic networking skills, and familiarity with standard network hardware, preferably Cisco Catalyst Switches. The position requires a highly structured and reliable work ethic, strong teamwork, professional client interaction, and a mandatory Class B driving license.
