Job Summary

This Lead DevSecOps Engineer role is crucial for advancing the digital readiness of the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) by contributing to one of Germany's largest and most complex IT infrastructures. The successful candidate will join the Cloud & Platform department, focusing on the design, development, and operation of a private cloud platform using agile and DevOps methodologies. Day-to-day tasks include building and evolving Kubernetes-based infrastructure, architecting and developing open-source solutions for software artifact transport in air-gapped environments, and developing Kubernetes Operators in Golang for automated management and supply chain security. This position requires deep expertise in cloud-native toolsets, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and security best practices (e.g., BSI Grundschutz).
