Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Application Engineer specializing in Functional Safety to act as a technical product specialist across defined components and systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and multiplying product knowledge, acting as 2nd Level Technical Support via various channels (email, phone, online meetings), and serving as the strategic backbone for the international 1st Level Application Support team. You will be crucial in creating technical application analyses, specifying customized solutions, and managing resulting projects. This position requires deep practical knowledge in Functional Safety, including designing safety concepts and providing technical consultation on safety components. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) or a technical qualification in Automation Technology, possesses excellent technical English skills, and is comfortable with communication, digitalization, and moderate travel (10-20%).
