Job Summary

This role involves supporting the digital transformation initiatives within the Human Resources and Legal Affairs Department at the University of Potsdam, focusing specifically on HR management digitization. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT Coordinator to drive the digitalization of internal processes, including project organization, detailed process analysis, and the creation of comprehensive documentation. A core responsibility is the design and development of workflow-based forms using the xima Formcycle management system to map various HR processes, ensuring their seamless integration into existing HR management systems. This position requires strong skills in project management, process optimization, and experience with complex IT systems, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the modernization of public administration processes.

Required Skills

Education

Relevant university degree (Bachelor, Diploma, or equivalent) in Administration, Business Administration of Public Enterprises, or a technical field

Experience

  • Professional experience in project management and process analysis/optimization
  • Experience with complex IT systems (e.g., xima Formcycle, Doxis)
  • Knowledge of database systems and common internet technologies
  • Professional experience in a university administration sector (Desirable)
  • Experience working with human resources management systems, preferably HIS e.G. products (Desirable)
