Job Summary

This Senior Electrical Design Engineer role involves designing, developing, and detailing electrical components for advanced automatic handling systems, including assemblies, modules, and complete machines. Key responsibilities include advancing the electronics, covering electrical hardware, drives, wiring diagrams, cabling, interfaces, and safety components. The engineer will be crucial in the hands-on electrical setup, commissioning, and testing of prototypes, ensuring proactive coordination with cross-functional teams like software, sensor technology, and mechanical design. The position requires creating and maintaining cable documentation, bills of materials, and circuit diagrams, while also overseeing prototype construction and commissioning. Candidates must possess a background in electrical engineering (Technician/Master level or degree), relevant professional experience in electronics development and electrical design, knowledge of standards (CE, VDE, SEMI), and proficiency in CAD tools, particularly E3 cable series, alongside good English skills and a willingness to travel.
