Job Summary
This role involves supporting the Medical University Lausitz - Carl Thiem, a major healthcare provider in Cottbus, by ensuring the efficient operation of technical building equipment and process engineering systems. The successful candidate, who holds a Bachelor's degree, Technician, or Master's qualification in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems (MSR), will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, parameterization, and programming of control and regulation systems. Key daily tasks include troubleshooting faults in MSR technology, implementing minor modifications and modernizations, and contributing to energy efficiency initiatives by analyzing consumption data. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electrician specializing in Operational Technology, followed by further education as a Bachelor, State-Certified Technician, or Master in Operational Technology, Energy Electronics, or MSR Technology/Building Automation. Proof of expertise for working on electrical systems (Qualified Electrician).
Experience
- Practical experience in Measurement, Control, and Regulation Technology (MSR)
- Good practical experience in technical building equipment
- Experience in handling software for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and DDC controllers is desirable
- Experience in creating documentation for technical system changes
- Technical and personal qualification for obtaining switching authorization for switchgear up to 1 kV
