Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the optimal operation and energy efficiency of the medical university's technical building equipment and process engineering systems through specialized Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MSR) technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing minor conversions, new installations, modernizations, and maintenance on MSR systems, alongside troubleshooting faults and programming control units. The specialist will also contribute to energy efficiency initiatives by analyzing consumption data and developing regulatory measures. Key requirements include a relevant technical qualification (Bachelor, Technician, or Master in Electrical Engineering, MSR Technology, or Building Automation), proven practical experience in MSR technology, and the ability to work as a certified electrician (Elektrofachkraft). Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electrician (e.g., in Industrial Engineering or Energy Electronics) followed by further qualification as a Bachelor, State-Certified Technician, or Master in Industrial Engineering, Energy Electronics, MSR Technology, or Building Automation. Certified Electrician (Elektrofachkraft) status required.
Experience
- Professional experience in Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MSR) technology
- Practical experience in technical building equipment (TGA)
- Experience in handling software for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and DDC controllers (Desirable)
- Experience in developing P&ID flow diagrams, instrument lists, parts lists, and wiring diagrams

Additional
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty (Rufbereitschaft) within the Measurement, Control, and Regulation group. Must possess the technical and personal qualifications necessary to obtain switching authorization for switchgear up to 1 kV.
