Job Summary

This role is for a highly motivated Research Associate to join the Business Informatics group, specializing in Enterprise Systems and Platforms, focusing on the responsible design and use of trustworthy information systems. The successful candidate will independently manage a research sub-area within Digital Transformation in Education, specifically focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Data Protection, and IT Security. Day-to-day tasks include conducting socio-technical research, preparing scientific publications for conferences and journals, assisting in teaching activities (including the 'Trustworthy Emerging Information Systems' course), and supporting the coordination of Bachelor's and Master's degree programs. This position is initially limited to three years, offers the opportunity for doctoral studies (PhD), and requires a strong academic background in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or related fields, coupled with excellent analytical skills and fluency in both English and German.
