Job Summary

This Senior Software Engineer role is crucial for developing and maintaining the core pricing platform at one of Germany's leading automotive insurers, HUK-COBURG. Working within the agile Data Analytics team, you will focus on transforming data into business value for over 13 million customers by standardizing Machine Learning practices across all pricing workstreams. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining core software packages, designing agile software architectures, and implementing self-service modules to simplify complex Machine Learning workflows. You will also collaborate closely with Data Engineers and Architects to build developer-friendly, high-memory data pipelines and coordinate CI/CD pipelines with MLOps and DevOps teams. The ideal candidate holds a very good Master’s degree in a technical field and possesses several years of practical experience with Python in production ML environments, coupled with strong expertise in agile software architecture and design patterns.
